An evening to enjoy fantastic South Asian streetfood at Street Feast’s first #NationalCurryWeek party in association with Kingfisher beer.

Taking place at Hawker House on Thursday 10th October for 1,500 curry lovers, it’ll bring 12 masters of the scene together for a celebration of south Asian curries from 17:00-00:00. Tickets are on sale NOW priced £10, which includes an ice-cold bottle of Kingfisher on arrival.

Each trader will produce one show-stopping curry dish, served at a sampling size to ensure spice fans can get through as many as possible.

Sambal (A west London based Sri Lankan Kitchen & Diner) will be preparing freshly made Appam, a bowl-shaped crepe popularly known as Hoppers.

London’s favourite Bombay café Dishoom, who are confirmed as headliners of a star-studded line-up will be preparing a Mutton Pepper Fry  – a Keralan dry meat curry with a thick sauce.

Shoreditch’s Lahpet will bring their signature Burmese flavours, while leading lights of the Lewisham scene Sparrow will show why their Sri Lankan curry (the Lamb Jaffna Potato Curry) is so loved.

Hawker House regulars Raastawala, renowned for their Kolkatan kati rolls, are delivering Railway Egg Curry, a family recipe handed down two generations.  Yum Bun will serve a katsu curry with a side of two bao buns.

To counteract all that heat, Chin Chin Labs will be on hand with their nitro ice cream.

There’ll be games and DJs on the evening, while Hawker House’s SIX bars will keep the craft beer, wine and cocktails flowing.

Watch this space for more traders and full menu details to be announced in the run-up to the event.
