British Tamil Entrepreneurs in partnership with Tamil Women in Business, Building Blocks UK & Thamarai
During these unprecedented & challenging times we are all facing, we want to encourage business founders from the British Tamil community to keep in touch, support one another & grow.
We invite you all to join us in something new – Virtual Business Networking on 7th May 2020 at 2pm.
We will host 50 established business owners, new founders, and aspiring entrepreneurs of the future to meet one another virtually, introduce themselves, share their ideas and goals.
During this lockdown, we would love to connect you to other Tamils who you could potentially do business with. There is huge power in networking, just one new connection can make a massive difference to any of our businesses!
How will it work on the day?
You’ll be sent a Zoom meeting invite with password 48 hours before the event.
Log into the meeting using Zoom, 5 minutes before the event start time.
The host will introduce the event at 2pm promptly.
The host will then invite each of you in alphabetical order to;
Introduce yourself
Explain what your business does OR explain what your idea is
What are your goals
Anyone in particular you want to connect with
You will have 70 seconds!
Post-event
After the event, we will share a document with you containing each attendee’s name and email address’, for you to connect with further if you like.
What we want from you
Stay online for the whole session and hear everyone’s intro.

Donations
The event is free, but you can give a voluntary donation to Building Blocks UK (www.buildingblocksuk.org) – A donation of £5 will provide a weekly food ration for a family back home in Sri Lanka. note: you will be redirected to the donation page once you have registered your ticket.
